The workshops here proposed purport to employ imagination and creativity of an ecstatic nature to kindle the indomitable and intuitive powers and gifts of women. By opening the doors onto these potentials we may obtain, first of a<\/em>ll, new means of communicating with the natural world, and thus harmonize our body cycles and sexuality<\/strong>. We can bring, as Mary Daly<\/strong> put it, acts of Outrageous, Contagious Courage<\/strong> into our life and the world, applying the just measure of vindication, centering and compassion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ngg_shortcode_0_placeholderMost of our meetings focus on the Animals that have been aiding potent expressions of the Mistress of the Universe for thousands of years.
\nHowever we may chose to call and invoke Her now, be it as Mother of Life, Goddess, or Primordial Ancestress, She has often been depicted and imagined as the Lady of the Animals<\/strong>, her body half woman and half animal, or else in human shape surrounded by animals. Our own vision of the human goes back to such images, which are amongst the most ancient we know of. Furthermore, these images continue to reveal essential functions of female Shamanism.<\/strong>
\nShould it be na\u00efve to approach spirituality evoking animals? Or should such doubts rather be the impact of the hierarchical and patriarchal vision that has been conditioning us all so far?
\nAre we ready to accept both animals and plants as teachers guiding us through this life, reaching down to the profoundest layers of our existence, and connecting to the most ancient symbolic strata of our inner worlds?<\/p>\n
